How to Install the Kaia App for Zoom

Objective

The purpose of this article is to provide information to Outreach Users regarding the Kaia app for Zoom that allows Kaia to be integrated into the Zoom meeting Window. 

The Kaia app for Zoom allows for Kaia to be integrated into the Zoom meeting window. If you do not have the app installed, Kaia will instead surface as a pop up in a separate window. 

If your Zoom Admin has not pre approved the app, then you will need them to approve use for you.

Applies To

• Outreach Users
• Kaia
• Zoom

Before you begin

• You must have a Meet license or equivalent to use Kaia in meetings
• Zoom must be your meeting provider

Procedure

1. Log in to Outreach.
2. Click Settings > Meetings > Kaia.
3. Navigate to Add Kaia as a Zoom app.
4. Click Add.

You will then be directed to sign into Zoom.

Accessing the app during a meeting

Once installed, navigate to your Zoom User Settings, and enable the Zoom Apps Quick Launch Button.

Now when you are in an active Zoom meeting, there will be a button in the bottom of your Zoom window called Apps. Clicking that will bring up the Kaia window inside Zoom. If you would like the window to automatically open, click on the 3 dots in the top right corner of the Kaia app and select Auto-Open in Meetings.

Uninstalling the app

1. Log in to Outreach.
2. Click Settings > Meetings > Kaia.
3. Navigate to Add Kaia as a Zoom app.
4. Click More options (three dots).
5. Click Uninstall.
