Procedures

Accessing Kaia User Configuration Options

  1. Access the Outreach Platform.
  2. Hover over the user's initials (avatar) on the bottom left corner and click Personal Settings.
  3. In the Meetings section, click Kaia.
  4. Optionally set up Kaia auto-join and language detection. (See below.)
  5. Once you are satisfied with your changes, click Save to complete.

Managing When Kaia Automatically Joins a Meeting

Configure the auto-join settings to choose when Kaia automatically joins a meeting.

Note: Kaia can still be added manually to any meeting by clicking the Join with Kaia button.

Auto-detecting Languages for Kaia Transcription

If you regularly have meetings in different languages, select up to two languages you use most often. Kaia will then automatically detect which language of these is spoken at the start of the call and transcribe in that language.

Note: For a specific language to be available for selection, an Outreach admin must first enable that language for your organization.

You can also manually change the transcription language in the Kaia Live window during the meeting using the language picker, or select no language if you do not want Kaia to auto-detect and change the transcription language at the start of the call.
